Rodeo Queen....Future Maybe?

McKenzie has been working for the past couple of years with her dad and his horses. She has been learning to barrel race, pole bend, and has now taken up goat tying. She has to start at one end of the arena and jump off of her horse when she gets close to the goat. Of course, as a mother I was a little nervous the first time that I saw her heading full steam towards the goat getting ready to jump off of her horse. She had no problem whatsoever. Once off of the horse, she has to grab the goat, pick it up, lay it down, and tie up three of the legs. I was pretty surprised at how good she was. The goat was a little heavy but for the most part she had it down. Do we have a future rodeo queen on our hands? Maybe. I guess time will tell. She seems to be sticking with it and only it. Guess she better learn her pageant wave!!
