Camping at the track!
Ok, so I know it isn't really camping, but I figure if we are in the trailer, it's camping! We took advantage of the long weekend and stayed out at the track for Payton's race.

The race went really well for Payton. We had a little mishap in the first heat that left him with a wheel that was bent sideways. It is a good thing that he had his dad and both grandpa's there to be his pit crew. They had him back in racing form before that next heat.

As you can clearly see, he received a trophy for his great efforts. He came in 3rd in the main event. We were so very proud of him. He is really aggressive and loves to pass the other cars on the track.

Payton and his new friend, Riley, in between races. The boys get to rest and hangout in between time and the dads get to do all the work to make sure the carts are in top shape!

Ahh, the little one! She thinks that she is quite important when she gets to sit in the drivers seat. Donny says that she is the next generation of racing...I just want her to become a ballerina. We will have to see.

The kids really had fun! I snapped this pic when we were getting ready to go home because I realized that they played so hard and were never around that I didn't get very many pictures. In fact this is that only one of McKenzie for the whole weekend. She was off playing and making new friends the whole time.
We had a blast and are all set to do it again in a couple of weeks for the 2 day race on June 6-7. Go Payton!!!
