October Book Report

McKenzie has to do a book report every month. October was to pick a Science Fiction or Fantasy book and make a pumpkin decorated as the main character. McKenzie chose to read The Wizard Of Oz. We put pipe cleaners on the top of the pumpkin and bent them down to form a ponytail. We also painted the face and put on a set of fake eyelashes. We topped it off with a blue gingham bow in the ponytail and we had our very own Dorothy. She received and A on the report and we had fun making it together. Next month is Folklore and we have to make a character puppet. Everyone wish me luck!!
